Take a video of the controllers from the side view and show us the spring back to the top of the controller. I say right now, you can't because it doesn't happen.

I just tried with 8 controllers, two brand new and there is NOT enough spring power to go past the center spot and if it does, it is so small. So show us the vids and I'll apologize.


C'mon other readers who can verify his claim?

Just did the same with my Elite controller and my Son's standard Xbox One controller and neither did what he claims. Again, if his does what he claims, then he has done something to it to make it act this way.

Okay, just loaded game and used the PS3 controller.

I got about 50% of my follow throughs to work.

The other 50% reset to address position.

Of the 50% that worked a little over 1/2 were 100% but of those only a few were straight.

Therefore, I 1/2 apologize because it can be done but IMHO it is not consistent enough to use that way.

Ok Tim i will do you another vid playing TGC, but i would have thought a man with your intelligence could see how the joy pad DOES go past center without pushing forward, but ok give me a few mins to make the vid.

It flicks slightly past center, but I cannot make a shot on my Elite controller doing this. I tried a number of times and it does not do what you say here.

Very odd.  I just tried my Elite controller and the club just slowly resets when I let go of the stick.  I just got my Elite controller on Friday and it is the way it came in the box.  I have not changed anything on the controller.

I was just commenting on what I experienced and how my controller is set up.  It was on my XB1.

No on the left thumb stick when you reach the stop point of the joy pad put slight pressure on the thumb stick, you can see how i do it on the vid?, if you just let it go it will do nothing except reset the shot, practice practice.

Can you get 100% in 10 out of 10 consecutive swings using your "technique"?  If not, I'm not sure it's something those people inclined to doing this would have the necessary patience to use this "technique".

Good luck with your "preferred" um, method. 99.99% of users would never know this nor try to do this.

I don't care about this debate and glad I'm not that involved but I would like to know if HB or Anthony supports the use of these Elite controllers?   I know it doesn't matter because everyone should be able to play the game as they want but I'm sure they know if they give any advantage...     I'm only curious quite honestly,  and if someone wants to gain an advantage that is their business.    This is why I'm such a lobby guy and don't play on TGC tours even though they try and run a clean ship..  At least with my friends,  I get to know them and understand where we all stand...  It's good clean cheat free fun.
