That you can do on ps4 controllers as well if you have the right technique. Have to "load" it a bit to get enough spring back.

A bit finicky on the longer shots but pretty much a guaranteed straight 100% shot even if it takes a few tries. For putting it is an automatic straight putt every time. Not that it is difficult to putt straight anyway, unfortunately.

If it was actually challenging to hit it straight it would be a huge exploit...

What a silly argument.

If somebody can hit the ball straight all the time, the only advantage he has is, he gets on the green in regulation more than the rest of us.

Now, if he is getting eagles (or better) from the fairway, I would be concerned but that would have nothing to do with straight shooting, would it?

Does he one putt from anywhere on the green? Or does he hit every approach shot with 3 feet of the cup?

I have a tracball mouse that I can hook and slice with without ever touching the ball setup ingame. Am I a cheater because I spin my ball left or right as I swing my club?

Next we will all have to buy HB tee shirts so we can't be accused of wearing an opposing games tee shirts.

Not saying your cheating at all I don't know anything about your controller I'm only curious if it gives an advantage?  Can you change the axis in anyway?

Well yes you can, you can change the "sensitivity" of the thumb sticks. And what DivotMaker is not telling you about the elite controller is the thumb sticks are a lot more "springy" than a normal xb1 controller, so you don't have to do a "push forward motion" with the new elite controller, if you use the left stick for example, all you do is pull it back fully and let it "spring" forward without you doing any forward push, so the ball goes straight every time.

What I stated was the truth. My Elite controller does need to be pushed through to complete a downswing. No different than the standard controller. The profiles do NOT change the sensitivity of the sticks, especially not while playing on the PC as there is no way to even do that. On the XBox, there are different profiles for different games, but none of them have any impact on the swing sensitivity in a Golf game. Get your facts straight. Again, you are trying to create an issue that does not exist.

Anyone who feels they need to cheat in a videogame needs serious help.

Go right ahead. Do one with the standard Xbox One and PS4 controllers while you are at it....oh and throw in an Xbox 360 controller for the hell of it.....I am sure they all somehow cheat in video golf games.....

Just tried what you claim...DOES NOT WORK. YOU MUST PUSH THE STICK FORWARD as all it does when you let go of the stick is reset to the center position......nice try....

Maybe his controller has an extra heavy duty spring? I just tried several different controllers and none of them spring back hard enough to give a full power shot. I don't know about straight as i did this out of game.

We own xboxes and ps3/4. Grandkids, got to keep em happy.

I prefer TGC on pc even though I haven't tried it on console, my son in law has it and I like pc better.

Look Tim, i don't know if the elite controller works the same on the PC, but i'm telling you on the xb1 it works as i say. i will make a vid later showing you, i don't have to lie its easy to show you.

It works the same on PC as it does on Xbox One and mine does nothing like what you describe.

I just tried with 8 controllers, two brand new and there is NOT enough spring power to go past the center spot and if it does, it is so small. So show us the vids and I'll apologize.
