Man do we need a great horse racing game, especially on consoles. Gallop Racer was ok back in the day, the concept was cool but it lacked in some areas. Start people off with a stable of 6 horses and some cash. Let them hire from available trainers with different abilities and build it from there.
Breeding, betting, choosing jockeys for each race and/or create your own and ride your horse in the race first-person. Sim watch or ride, up to the user.
Adding a way to have online multiplayer besides the single player career mode would be awesome, especially from a betting point of view. Would be great to have a horse in a race and see how others online betting on that race (with fake game money of course). This could also lead to some paid content if people bet themselves broke - they would need to buy some betting coin lol.
What do you think HB, sound interesting enough to look into? There is definitely a niche market out there for it like golf.
