I have played every Tiger Woods game for the PS3. The creators of this game have had over 18 years of golf games to pick and choose the best features of those games. There should be a create a player. The problem with these golfers, is there is no emotion. You need more camera angles for your golfer from tee to green. There are a lot of angles for the approach and putting, but none for driving and on the fairway, rough or sand traps. The game is stale. See ball hit ball. No variety with your character. It's boring. The golfers should have their own voice and words. We need a crowd. We need more choices in golfing equipment. It's those little upgrades that make this average game into a possible great game.
There is no reason why they can include a Create a Golfer and more equipment. You can get old names from the past like Northwestern, Sears, etc. You can use college golfers as the models. It would be cool to get courses from Australia or other World Tours.
I would pay 5-10 Dollars for a downloadable Create a Golfer any day.

There are separate teams for TGC and Infinite Air.  We have not moved on from TGC.

Yeah create a golfer in you own likeness is just another feature I have come to expect after playing tiger all those years.   I loved making my true likeness and it's sorely missing In tgc.

It's something we'd definitely want to do.
But just to give you a ball park - to make something that is up there with something like Don Bradman Cricket, which I think is great you're looking at around $1million.
That's a lot of money to put into other features but we hope to plug away at that over time

And as Keith says, the golf team is completely separate from the Snowboarding team. I'm not cool enough, an know my limitations all too well, to take on snowboarding

There is a golfer on the screen? Oh yeah occasionally hides my putts . Tbh if we had no golfer at all I'd be fine with it. I'd be low priority to a lot of other things for me. The gameplay and courses keep the game fresh, not cool animations or avatars. I do get that a lot of folk do enjoy that sort of immersion though

It's good to hear you say you like create a golfer option.   One of the things I loved most about EA's Tiger game a few years ago was that I could sit down and create the golfer to look very close to my likeness.   That was one of the features I really had fun with,   but the one thing that was missing was a way to join and play other and see their created golfer which I thought would be so cool and interactive.    Here is to hoping that someday this makes and HB studios golf game that would be sweet!
