The 4th and final course at Tulip Point Country Club, the Royal Forest course, is now open and accepting tee times!!

This is likely to be the last course I design (I think :))), as I am hanging up my GNCD controller, and now turn my focus 100% to enjoying the amazing courses others have created, as well as my own. Although it has been a lot of fun, designing has been too time-consuming, too thought-consuming, too-addictive and too many nights I've passed up doing something else to get a few more minutes that night on the GNCD. Too many nights I've gone to bed way too late for the same reason.

My courses aren't the greatest, but I love them. I love this game. It is easily my favorite golf game.
I now look forward to playing the long list of courses I've written down and haven't played b/c I was too busy making this one.

I wanted to go out with a bang. I feel like I did, as I'm really happy with what I've accomplished these last 2+ months; hope you enjoy your round.....

TULIP POINT CC-ROYAL FOREST
The course is 7087 yds, par 72.
Everything set to Medium, putting set to 144.
The greens are gently sloped and will likely produce lower scores.
B, C, D versions also exist. These are simply different hole locations, no progressive difficulty or anything. All 4 (the regular, B, C & D) should play relatively the same.

Fans of Pinehurst & Pine Valley should definitely enjoy, with countless waste bunkers and tall coniferous trees lining the fairways.

Some other pictures from my WIP page are linked here; there wasn't a lot of time between the WIP and these, so the pictures attached are a good representation of the course as well.

Thanks for playing, Sanchez, glad you enjoyed your round!
Yeah, I figure w/medium everything + gentle sloping greens, some people will be able to dial it in and score really low.

Played this last night with 3 of my buddies, all of us enjoyed it a lot. The greens on the back 9 seem to progressively get a bit more difficult than the front 9, which is rather cool; the front lulled me into a bit of complacency, then forced me to step up my game as the holes progressed :)
Great job, gave this a high 8.

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the kind words.
What I did w/my last 2 courses was saved green scuplting for the end, so they'd all be similar, since I was in the same mind set.
With whatever free time I had last week, it took me 4 days to do the first 8 holes. I did the last 10 holes within 24 hrs.
So I guess I was in a more feisty mood for the last 10.  ;D ;D

If you play the B/C/D versions, you will find some easier/difficult pin placements.
And one thing I tried to keep in mind was if I made the hole location really difficult, I tried to make it less challenging on the sculpting.

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for including it on your tour.
I was out of town over the weekend, and when I turned the game back on yesterday, I was delighted/stunned to see it up to 72 plays; b/c it had 18 before I went out of town.
Really happy to see people are enjoying the course, thanks again for playing!  :) :)

Belter of a course Windy, had lots of fun out there chasing my ghosts. Its a great iron shot challenge this one, you really have to think through your approach even with the tamer than average greens.
Top stuff all round, looks and plays a treat.

Thanks Redeyedd, happy you enjoyed your round!
Even though the greens aren't intimidating, I try to make you think, without being unfair.

Another great course Tom, thoroughly enjoyed the two rounds I just played. Gave the course a solid 9.

First round shot a 61; 31 on the front and 30 on the back.
Second round was a 59; 29 on the front and 30 on the back.

Currently leading the Xbox One standings but reckon there's a mid 50's in the course if someone puts it all together.
My designs (which hopefully improved as time went on - most recent last):
Quedgeley Hills Golf Club
Welland Lakes Golf Club
Autumnal Wood Black Course
Majestic County Golf Club
Buick Grange Country Club
Buick Grange Country Club (2016 revision)
Las Bocas Golf Resort

Neil,
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for playing.
I know we all get different leaderboards based on the console we're on.
On ps4, the leaderboard shows 9 scores at 59 or better, one of which is a 57, another is a 55.
So you have your work cut out for you! ;D

Yeah, it's a shame they can't show a combined leaderboard. C'est la vie. Challenge on!!
