Well I cant imagine that this can be topped, probably looking at the definitive golf game in TGC2

I am sure there are things I just don't have the smarts to invision, but the societies are suprisingly  what I am most looking forward too.

Has there been any alpha layouts of the hud/golfer UI yet?

and will there be a beta/ early release version?

really pleased that you guys listened to us!

;) I've been working on the UI layouts since July of last year, so that's a hard yes. It's just not gone into the game just yet.

PG thread is dead now  lol, hmmm, nothing from their group yet.

Wow. Leave it to you to try and start a pissing match instead of posting something useful.

JCauthen was one of the first to post a out TGC2 here. He's an avid PG player like me. But like me he is also very interested to see how TGC2 comes along.

Why do you insist on constantly trying to turn everything into a PG/TGC war?

I'm pleased to read about the direction of TGC2. Lots of cool things on the horizon and some of them are both surprises and great additions all at the same time. Love the society concept and the impact that currency has on them.

I'm obviously looking most forward to the new swing mechanic as this has been my biggest issue with TGC so far. I think I'm most interested to see how the different levels will pan out in tournament play. Will everyone just default to the easiest level in order to compete or will the risk reward component work?  I'd obviously prefer to be able to lock down the swing difficulty in the tournament options but I realize that this doesn't fit the vision of TGC so I can respect that. But I'm glad that the swing difficulty is going to be there and the tempo based component is fantastic news. Can't wait to try it!

Congratulations HBS!  Can't wait to play this one.

Has nothing to do with a pissing match unless you make it that way.

So take your negativity elsewhere.

I just figured you guys would have something to say seeing as this is a huge announcement but tis okay I never expect anything more from you anyways but BS

Ummmmm... did you look above your post?

Why you felt the need to mention the PG thread in this thread is beyond me. Seems to me there's only one reason to do that but apparently I'm wrong.... you weren't trying to be negative

Sorry Anthony and reeb....won't put down what I had to say as this is a day to be filled with glee so I shall ignore the negatives as there are way more positives.

You can delete my posts if you want.

Hey Laura - Will there be some options for a minimalist display and a way to get rid of the white flag/distance indicator in the middle of the screen?

Love the idea of having different water table levels.

Are the bridge height levels changing as well?

Great Job!

That's on the books. The HUD should only present information contextually, but it will allow you to turn elements on and off in settings individually, or toggle them into hiding entirely during play.
Again, this is something that will take some time to get in. Even if all I can get to is a reskin, it will be much, much less obtrusive.

Fantastic news Laura!  You made my day!  (Well, twenty things about this announcement did...but that was one of them!)
