Omg !!!  Waterfalls !!!!!  I am so juiced right now. My mind is reeling as to what I'm going to do with the new features of the designer even though I don't know what all of them are yet.....
A question though.  Being that there are now waterfalls available...... Does that mean moving water in streams as well?  I can already see spending days working with this.  And I can't wait to see the other new designer features.  My life just got Longer, because I'll be spending the next 9 months waiting........

This is a nice addition and one that is necessary. But it's going to be a bit annoying now seeing 15 waterfalls on every new course for the first year or so. LOL

Just like everything else...... Needs to be used in moderation.  Personally my thoughts are to have one or two spectacular waterfalls on a course which can seen from multiple holes.  Then smaller creeks and water features around the course.  Of course you need some with nothing at all to balance it out.
I think it will be more of a problem to complete playing a course while stopping to admire the scenery of it all.  My mind is already racing.......

I agree. Hopefully the rest of the designers think like you!

Would be very "normal" to see a bubbler or fountain in small ponds around our local courses.  Have to keep the water healthy!  This would be great in TGC2.

As for moving water...Paul, if I make my stream flow from 100'+ above sea level down at differing elevation changes will I get RAPIDS!  I want rapids....lol.  Maybe even a kayak to  traverse over to an island...can we say MINI GAME!

Super good stuff coming from HB sounds like!

You just know the water features are going to get hammered for 6 just like they did with the support struts for the greens in this game when they first came out.
bring on 2019 tgc.

??????  I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want them and moving streams to enhance courses?

I doubt that anyone is against moving streams, but waterfalls are extremely uncommon around golf courses. They would be a nice touch, once or twice, but we are going to be inundated with them in TGC2.
I just prefer realism to video game gimmicks, personally.

HB, will your water look realistic flowing over rocks?

And I definitely agree that most sensible folk will want this feature to used in extreme moderation.

PGA Tour course Montreux had 4 waterfalls. I'll had to do a remix for the course when TGC2 comes out.
