??????  I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want them and moving streams to enhance courses?

I doubt that anyone is against moving streams, but waterfalls are extremely uncommon around golf courses. They would be a nice touch, once or twice, but we are going to be inundated with them in TGC2.
I just prefer realism to video game gimmicks, personally.

I don't think I have played any course anywhere in the world ( I was military) where the waterfall was more than a couple of feet on a running stream/brook.

Now there have been tons of minigolf courses with waterfalls.

Agreed

There isn't a good course that I know of that has a waterfall - it's a gimmick and it's sad to even see resources devoted to stuff like that.

Top designers have to be careful with planting due to the fps issues since unity is a bad engine I would think moving water will make that even worse

Courses I claim in order of how I like em

Pacific Bluffs Golf Club
Soggy Bottom Golf Club
Old Beaver Creek (With Reebdoog)
Deliverance Golf Club
Semmock Golf Club
Oak National
Hanging Tree
Potrornak Links

I have no plans for waterfalls that are NEAR a hole or green.

What I hope is that the draw distance for them is quite large so we can put them AWAY from the course. That would be a much more enjoyable use for me anyway.

Also... sounds of water please... thanks.

I cant wait to drop one 20 feet from a par 3 green. Most of the buggers around here just build decent courses, well we have enough of those now. I like to build the course like I would if handed an unlimited budget.  :D :D :D
Courses Created:
Coastal Taipan
Rattlesnake Pointe
Bethpage State Park Black Course
Glen Abbey GC
Horned Viper GC (Gold Tees)
Thousand Islands Golf and CC

Why do i play with a female avatar? Because I would rather look at an ugly female than a pretty male.....

Then you haven't seen Montreux. You'll get a nice look at it during the last week of June when the PGA Tour stops in for the Barracuda. Like I said earlier, four (4) waterfalls. They aren't huge cliffhangers, but there are waterfalls throughout the course.
