StormGolf created a fantastic version of Southern Hills a while ago and released several great versions of it.  I'd check it out before sinking too much of your time in...it was an excellent rendition.

Tall order to top Storms rendition, also considering he has played the course.

Agree with McBogga 100%. But always up to play an attempt at a real course.

I'm open to seeing something, no hard feelings here....

Lighthouse is best I could do in TGC for the clock tower that is housed on the range. What you got up your sleeve for it?

Can't wait to see it!

EDIT:  and....Thanks guys for the kind words on the original release.  I really enjoyed making it.  Feels so real to me having walked it many times and played it a handful as well.  I truly think it's a very good recreation...bias aside :)

I have the same lighthouse issue at Pine Valley.  The halfway house looks like this, was considering using the white lighthouse but it looks just massive when I tossed it in the designer.

Honestly I think this has a ways to go. I'd hold off on releasing and work on some polish considering the quality of Storms.

The light rough on tees, back one is going down the slope.

Cart path looks aggressive on slope

Elevations around tee seem extreme, doesn't look natural

Light rough around fairways isn't even uniform looking

The pine texture looks a bit off

Overall elevations seem aggressive

Just my opinion, maybe it is better when playing.
