This past year after Jose Fernandez died, his teammate Dee Gordon paid tribute to him their next home game. First, all of the marlins wore Fernandez number. Second, Gordon led off the game batting in the wrong batters box (Fernandez hit right, Gordon left). After taking a pitch from the right hand side Gordon switched. Then, on the next pitch he homered, (Gordon never homers, speed not power). You can see him crying rounding the bases. I'll try and find the link when I get home.
