not sure why he would sue.im sure he his very busy with other things at the moment,But he has got his name on the entrance and it is the name of the course these days so not alot i can do.Do regard your views and maybe many others but the name wont be changing.

He also has upset alot of people in scotland, but what is name or company has done to turnberry and aberdeen courses is amazing, and being a golf fan what's most important to me,but again i can understand your view and totally accept it.

Just asking is it because his name is on the course,or because his company brought the course or both.

What about if it was Just called Turnberry only wondering thats all.

The name. Calling it Turnberry or Turnberry Ailsa is fine.
Knowing he owns the course IRL isn't the end of the world to me. I still play Turnberry on TW Golf, even if the TW course is not the exact same it is now, and Doral too.

I'm not making the following political at all, please note that and please don't take it that way......
I dislike him so much as well as other things that happened from the past election, that I won't play a course with his name, whether it's Turnberry, Philadelphia, Doral, whatever.
I have seen so much every day for the past year+, and now at least the next 4 years, that turning on my game to enjoy my free time, and seeing the name plastered everywhere on my screen/scorecard would just irk me.
I understand there's probably products I use in my daily life that benefit his pockets, but as long as I can't see the name and don't know it, I'm ok with that; I don't research every company under the sun. It's a touchy subject for many in the US, and possibly other parts of the world too.

So, yes, it's just the name itself that bothers me. Maybe that's crazy, so be it, but I just want a half hour away from the real world when I play golf.

I agree that there should be no politics on this forum, and I hope the answer above was just me saying I don't like him, and none of the why I don't, which hopefully stays on the right side the line of decency in regards to this forum.

btw, the course looks outstanding so far. Excellent job! :)
