To follow up from my previous mumblings   ..... I know TGC 2 will have have multiple tees and pins

Although I doubt it will have multiple firmness options  ... so some designers will do other versions of the same course but with different green/fairway firmness

You're a better man than me Yeltz ,
No wind on ps4 in the designer.

You just need a online connection, but click go offline from main menu, into designer only courses you have in designer should be there to play..

To play the course offline and with wind effects you do so by saving and exiting out of the GNCD. Go to play round and go to all courses, then hit L1/R1 (can't remember which but it's on screen somewhere to toggle for unpublished courses) and it will bring up your unpublished files, select the course you want and play it, John and Mother Nature will both accompany you for the outing!

Hope this helps

Hello

My first post at this forum  :)

I searched for this info but failed to find it ...thougt it could fit in to this thread:

I see that many courses comes with different versions ... "Saturday Pins ... Sunday Pins" ... etc etc

What is the trick to make a second version of your course with changed conditions, pins and tee's, after you have published the first version  ?

Thnks

once you have published course (TGC1) i hope this,go to Course designer, you are on Unpublished page.click LB/RB button top of controller and the course you published will be there.select it and it will load you can edit conditions and change name and save it.once saved it will go into unplublished folder with new name and conditions if you don't publish it first time.

Welcome to the forum.
Make sure you rename the course too, in the Save section. When it takes you into the new version, it automatically calls your course New _____. If you're doing separate pins, etc., you probably want a different name other than New.
Lots of versions due to refurbishments.
Play the ones exactly how they're listed here:
Tulip Point CC-Queen's Course
Tulip Point-Prince Course
Tulip Point-Royal Forest
Tulip Pt.-King's Course
Tulip Pt.-Royal Meadow
*All courses above have B, C, D versions*

Also,
Timber Trails (RCR)

I haven't switched either. I see some other people post on here that they haven't switched to tgc2 either, or have switched back.
There aren't a lot of new tgc1 courses being shown in these forums, but that's ok, I have roughly 120 courses in my favorites, including 6-7 Yeltzman RCRs  :), plus I still enjoy playing TW golf. I have plenty of golf to enjoy.

You  also could have wrote " I'm suprised that people still use Windows Vista as OS "  :) ... thats the reason I didnt go for the bargain offer of 16 EUR for TGC 2 ... For the moment I'm studing so no plans for a new CPU at this very moment ... but it is sure on the horizon within a year ... and so is TGC 2

Also thanks to WC Wizard for the tip ...

I really liked the front nine you published in TGC2.  More of the same for the back nine would make a tremendous course!

Cheers.
How did I make a twelve on a par five hole? It's simple - I missed a four foot putt for an eleven.
