Well its time to get it going i have so my Wips started that ill publish as betas and carry over, but ive been wanting to do this course for a while.  They re-did the first 5 holes over for the PGA Championship this year , and it was tough to get the info on it but, i found the scorecard with the yardage and blue golf and goggle are showing the new layout. i can get get the greens for for all but 2 holes there are new .the first hole is using the old 2nd green, the old 3rd hole is now the second hole , and the old 4th  is now the 3rd hole and they added a new 4th hole a and they changed the tee box for the 5th hole, the only real change on the back is they moved the 11th hole fairway bunker to be more in play . this course will be a par 71 7600 yard course with some long par 4s, 3 over 500 yards on the front and one on the back, tgc2 will have a longer drive now , and water table issues wont be a problem either, i will post some pics as i go , this does have over 60 ft of elevation change which will be nice and a challenge to get right and hopefully ill have it ready in time for the PGA Championship

Sorry to hear about that mate, hope you're doing okay and sorry for your loss.  Hopefully some time in the designer will help take your mind off things.

yeaaa the pga just rolled out the hole and yards for the championship i had a recent scorecard but it is slightly different especiallya par 4 that went from 518 yards down to 483 big difference ive been streming on twitch  while i build  need to get another thumb drive so i can post pics the planting will be a challenge so hard to tell where the mulch stars and stops but ill get it close laying down tees fairways and greens the cart paths and much  8 holes done no light rough on this course once i get all 18 done ill be gin sculpting and adding all the bunkers

hmm im very disappointed i didnt catch this in the beginning but there is a major water table issue with this course if im unable to put retaining wall around elevated water i dont think i can make this course work i began sculpting this week and hole 7 has major retaining wall work thats a major look to the 7th hole i thought that this was the lowest point i didnt catch hole 13 had a little creek and that the low point on this hole is 15 yards below hole 7 and because the hole are so close together i cannot make this up and it will have a major effect on about 4 holes and how they look during the beta i never tried to put retaining walls around elevated water  i might have just lost almost a hours of work for nothing grrrrrrrrr

I thought bridges and walls could be placed at any level in TGC2?!?!?  Not much point to multi-level water if you don't have the bells & whistles to go along with it.....

Unfortunately I can't get a good angle to show you that the water is actually at elevation.  It's next to a lake that is at the water table so it's hard to tell that the water with the retaining wall is raised up.  It's not raised up much, only about 3-4 feet, but it is definitely not the water table.

yeaaaaaa thanks keith im excited again i didnt realize how much this course has when it comes to planting especially buildings i see that the plant meter will be maxed hole 7 is truly magnificent with the houses and retaining wall and water around it gonna be a lot of work
