Gatlinburg GC has finally been completed, redesigned and renamed. Although only one hole features a water hazard, the course has some pretty nice views in the Boreal theme. If you enjoy challenging courses and elevation changes this tournament is for you. If you don't know about Gatlinburg, it is on the eastern part of the state of Tennessee and features the Smokey Mountains right by it's side. The course is fictional with slightly firm fairways and fast greens. The course features tight fairways with heavy rough looming, fairway is key here. Not only is it somewhat tough to find the fairways, the greens have all been designed by hand first to make for an exciting finish for the tournament. I'm not sure how to upload a picture onto here so if someone could let me know how that'd be great. I hope some of you find the time to play the tour (4 rounds, one on each version- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). If you're interested just make sure to search, "The Gatlinburg Invitational" in "Tour" mode. Also, if there is anything I could improve with please let me know. We changed 13 of the old holes and touched up every green to ensure a challenging but fair experience. Hope those of you who find the time to play enjoy.
