Since I updated to the latest version of windows a couple of hours ago, everything has gotten messed up.

I can get the game to load in a window, that's it. If I try to launch it full screen it locks up, I then have to hit the windows key to close it down.

I know that something has happened with the update and Nvidia, but this is weird.

When I do get the game to run, colours look off and the sky is full of wavy lines! Everything looks weird really, colours look washed out mostly. Conversely, when I went to play battlegrounds, everything looked incredibly over saturated.

Anybody else having issues since the update?

No issues here with the game and Creators update.

I think I've fixed it now.

I looked around a few forums and tried a couple of things.

Disabling this feature in the new "game" settings in windows, 'Show Game bar when I play full screen games Microsoft has verified' seems to have sorted it for now.


The game runs perfectly in full screen now and my colours seem about normal.

Seems the last two major Win10 updates MS has broken something each time. Anniversary update broke gamepad support. Creators update borked USB3.0/3.1 support......

I have disabled all the game mode / bar / recording from Microsoft for this very reason.

I've turned all those off now too. Do you have game mode on or off?

Just what happened to me...
Running Nvidia driver 382.05....smooth as silk
Install Creator's update..version 1703
noticed the color thing..went to TGC ...shuddering...game play was ok...still...
checked TGC2 beta..ok..all other games, programs seem fine..

uninstalled then reinstalled Nvidia driver 382.05......TGC runs smooth as silk

Folks keep blaming Nvidia, i think what is happening is that Windows starts up Intel drivers..

I dunno, no techie, but i always keep Nvidia drivers up to date (i know, kinda anal) but hey, i very seldom experience any kind of problem...

I have game mode on.........
