The putting seemed very good to me.

I lipped one out on the low side of the cup (left) and it spun to the right, didn't hit the hole and go further left like in TGC 1.

I think it may be a player error. You have to be very slight from close range. I've over powered a few myself. Though i'll play more, and if i think it's a bug i'll say so.

I didn't have any issues relating to putting on the PS4 last night.  I did have user error for not being gentle enough on the controller a few times though.  I think the putting is great!  HB got it spot on!

 I have had a few Jerky putts to be honest but I'm sure it's an easy fix for hb to sort out, other than that hats off to hb, I have seen some screen tearing also, but that happened when tgc 1 first came out.

Putting is fantastic for me on Xbox One. The responsiveness of the putter is noticeably better compared to the experience I had with TGC1 (which was still very good).

While I wouldn't freak out about it as much as OP, there does appear to be something a bit wonky with putting on PS4.

Sometimes the backswing on the putter is distinctly more sensitive than others. Usually it feels similar to TGC1 but there's the occasional hiccup. This causes you to hammer it through the hole even on a two footer. Happened to me three times in my first two rounds.
