The point, I think, people are missing is that I (at least) would like to play with my friends on the sofa using our own profiles.

Yes we can set up guest profiles and save them, but I bet you can't adjust handicap. Nor browse your mates stats to see who has the longest drive etc etc.

And can you name them? Or are we limited to one guest save, or maybe guest1 guest2 etc.

Neither is acceptable IMHO.

I have friends over and we play madden. We have a franchise set up that is only played when they are over. We play TW (sorry the other EA one) with our own profiles.

We play Forza, and many other games that use our own profiles yet save stats etc. to that profile.

Why can't we set up an offline society for this very purpose? This should have been implemented as many people from TGC1 wanted this.

We aren't missing it tho.

This game is a single profile based game. That's the only way it works unless you're willing to give up some of the features.

Also that's what makes it backwards compatible.

Examples
-Elder Scrolls Online
-Elite Dangerous
-ARK Survival

All those games are a single profile game and in those designs the gameplay is sharing online updates and creations to thousands and millions simultaneously

Forza unless you're playing online mode is local so there's nothing extra to share which makes all the difference.

Id like to be able to add multiple profiles too
But

Not if that means giving features.
