I haven't been able to connect since the 1st hour after the release of the game. I have the habit of always using launch options same as AFCTUJacko said, to make sure I got full screen in the old game.

Anyway tried going straight in on Play The Golf Club and the connection was back.

We have recently made a change that addresses the 'Launch Options' ~vs~ 'Play The Golf Club 2' boot options when starting the game via Steam.  Either option you choose should launch and work just fine.
