Looks like some heavy hitters have now joined.  Leader of the current tourney is -17 after first round.  I can't touch that with a 20 ft pole.   :(

not that it matters to anyone, but the heavy hitters that do -17 under in one round make me leave groups and societies. I don't want to be somewhere were i will never compete for the top spot...im not that great and my lowest is around -5 for a round...kinda makes it not fun you know?

Today's course is pretty easy if you're okay with Tour clubs, due to the short length. I'm likely to duck out soon and stick with Societies that prefer just using the Tour clubs - I can see why it's a bit annoying for people who don't hit low scores on courses like that, so I can completely understand where you're coming from.

It's early days and some of us are just after some nice societies to play in! When TGCT kick in properly, you'll probably see a drop off in "heavy hitters"

The manager could always add some handicapped tournaments to give the lower scoring players a shout at a top ten finish

well if you find a group that does tour only and scores are realistic...lemme know!

As requested folks I have added some handicap events and also some Par 3 competitions which will be fun for all. I have also brought some competitions up to the front tee which will make all greens achievable to reach in 2 by everyone.

Enjoy
