Hello All,
Very slowly returning to course design. Starting off with a short course idea I have had for a while.
I am trying to specialise here in short par 4 holes that offer difficulty without being too tricked up on the greens.
Starting off with a 9 hole (working from 9 backwards) and trying to make it expandable by laying out so one of the holes can be converted into the start of the back 9 when I make an 18 hole version.
Main feature is a small lake from where the course starts and ends.
So far just done the 9th, a 250 yard-290 yard par 4 (three tees) where you iron to the edge of a cliff then play down 30 foot to a raised island green in front of the clubhouse.
Pictures coming tonight as I am just fine tuning the fairway.
Very busy with work and a toddler so I don't expect fast progress, if I get this done by the end of July I will be shocked but I am giving it a go.
