This is an issue with not just HB or EA, They are in bed with each other, But with all game companies. They make a game and put it out with or without issues. Some games are even unplayable and then say that they will fix it. They tell you that the game will be one thing and then you get it and it is nothing like they advertise. This is something that must come to an end. If you were going to buy a new car and had to put it in reverse to go forward or nothing worked as it should then you would not buy it or if there were issues with the car or anything else in the world that you buy, then the manufacturing compony must fix the issue or replace it or even refund you for the defective product. The problem is that there is no regulation for gaming manufactures, developers or what whoever needs to take responsibility for their product. They take advantage of the fact that all anyone does is go onto a page like this and complain and the fact that most people look at it as its just a game. You paid for it you should get waht you paid for. Just a game no longer works. The gaming industry pulls in more money then any other entertainment industry but they have very little regulations in theses matters. The only way any of this will be fixed is if everyone stops sitting around complaining about it and does something about it. Until then you may as well stop wasting your time. You will have people that will agree with you, people that won't and people that will sit back and laugh as they take your money and not care weather their product works as advertised or not. But lets face it people, if they advertised that the game has issues, that not all of the game works and that most likely you will not be satisfied with this product, most of you would buy it anyway and then show up on some kind of page like this and cry about it but you won't be willing to do something about it. As long as the masses continue to turn a blind eye or to do nothing but complain about it then they will continue to sell defective products and smile about it as they do. There are laws, especially in the U.S.A and all major countries, to protect the buyer from this very thing but only if the buyer actually does something about it not just cry about it. To get on a page like this and cry about how injustice is running rampant and you are a victim is you asking for someone to take action for you. Don't wast time here. If you did the same thing in a lawyers office then you may be able to get that very thing to happen. Just a thought.
Disagree a lil bit - though plenty of great points.
Lots of folks, myself included do a little something about it.
When THE CREW glitched a 100 point achievement that took FOREVER to grind out, and it was pointed out to UBI, while they were still working on 2 paid DLC - so they still had a team on the game and could have fixed it. They refused to. Some of us will never buy another UBI game.
Bummer because some of their upcoming stuff looks wicked fun, I will truly miss the FARCRY games.
But I will never spend another cent with a company that does business that way.
Sure, I know, they will never notice 1 guy, or 10 guys, or 1000 guys not buying any more of their games.
But it is a positive real world step. Sometimes as consumers, it is all you can do.
Griping on here can get a problem noticed, then the ball is in the game makers hands.
HB has actually done more to get things squared than a lot of makers do.
This has to be their worst nightmare for a launch.
I think they will get most serious concerns ironed out.
Literally been less than 2 weeks, and honestly it is already almost working right sometimes.
