Below is a list of items that have been address in this update.

•   Staggered Leaderboards in Online Societies – This will hide final results of the round from the user before entering a round and they will see scores unfold during the event, even if the other players have completed their round.
•   Society President Banning – This will give Society presidents the ability to remove inactive users or users who are abusing their settings for their Society.
•   Additional Stat Tracking – We have added personal stats breakdown for number for Birdies, Eagles, Albatross and Hole-in-Ones for the user.
•   Society Search Filters – We have added the ability to sort societies by popularity and by entry fees.
•   Course Designer – Improved stability of course editing when manually planting pieces of grass with brushes.
•   Auto Adding Rivals – Users can turn on auto add rivals during a society event and the game will select players from their round to complete against and will automatically add them to their scorecard.
•   Society Handicaps - Handicap restrictions are now taking effect when joining an event, not only when joining a Society.
•   Added Strokes - Addressed a case where some users were experiencing added strokes to their round after viewing a replay.

Xbox One and PS4 will be receiving this update as well however they have not been submitted to Microsoft and Sony for review. This will likely happen early next week with the update following shortly after.

Still no mouse optimization?  Still no multiplayer modes like you said the game had in your pre release live streams?  Just come out and tell us like a man we aren't getting any more multiplayer modes if that's is the case!  I think we deserve to know.

Would it be a fair question to ask which of these updates took the longest to finalize, and why? I'm trying to get a feel for the timeline of when you guys make updates to better understand why some things aren't being addressed, but other pretty minor/insignificant things are receiving attention. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt when I read responses from you guys on here that essentially say "it's too laborious...we have other things we are working on...etc." to address some of the more major changes that have been widely requested, but am having difficultly understanding how this list you've just put forward took so long - so I'm only asking to get a better idea of your process.

Thanks.

See they,ve left out one of the bigger issues, most people I play with are sick of having to jump from one society to another, hoped they would have increased the number, even to 7 would have been better than nothing, this update seems hardly worth bothering with, thought that making the game more enjoyable for users would have been a major factor

Ugh, pretty sure they said AI in Career was being addressed. Oh well, maybe in 2018.

Many of the items in this list are things that have been discussed on the forums and expressed through other lines of communication. Some of the other areas that have been requested have been prioritized lower due to the effort involved and impact it has on the game. 4-6 weeks is pretty standard for updates as well, the amount of content in each update comes down to the resources available as well.

Thanks for the reply Shaun. Would you care to expand on the two items in bold?

What exactly do you mean when you say "impact it has on the game." Are we talking impact in terms of how it will effect gameplay performance/stability - which would require additional changes/updates to make sure the patched update is stable? I'm grasping at straws here...not sure I really understand what you mean.

As to the "resources available" comment, are you speaking to manpower alone? I would think yes, but just not sure. If so, this is then pretty closely related to the "effort involved" line, right?

Basics still missing:
  • Water-HAZARDS
    - Disconnect Hazardborder from actaul water
    - full set of droprules for both hazard types
  • Unplayble Ball
    - full set of ruleoptions
  • Physics
    - cup; still using worst possible model
    - spin, loft, clubheadspeed are inproperly connected
    - flightpath for fade/draw are inappropriate.
    - up-/downhill component of balls lied still disregarded
  • Swing
    - still depends more on fps then on actual input movement
    - horizontal still missing
    - represents only backwards part, thruswing is missing (worst on putting)
  • Course Designer
    - path smothening still misscalculated with width less then 1.5m
    - menuhandling (options inconsistent)
    - when importing from TGC1 objects are changed (allmost any) and moved (bridges)
just to mention the worst.

Very nice to see things like society leaderboards not revealing all scores on 1st tee along with more stat tracking.  Wish there was an in game stat for total rounds started/completed.  Biggest bummer for me is no actual proper match play, 4 ball or alt shot modes.
