A working option of matchplay & skins would be great for both single and team games with choice to watch your opponent or not and definately a concede hole option to, has would some fun games like bingo bango bongo, killer golf, cricket to name a few there's lots out there just add to a good game that could quite easily be the best golf game ever in my opinion.

This would mean that an online multiplayer component would have to WORK for this game, correct???

HB has gotten my money this time around,  and I still think the game is awesome,   but I can't get past the nonsense they feed us about a lobby not being important.  I spend most of my time sharing with friends and they seem to believe this isn't important.   Well,  I hear to say as one of their biggest supporters that I'm not playing the game again until they move their thoughts into the new millennium..     I will also not purchase a TGC3 until they have a legit multiplayer...   This is a guarantee..     I guess for me,  the more time has gone on and I've had time to digest some of the moves the studio has made,  I've really gotten a bit irritated..    Soon enough the only people left playing the game will be course designers with no one playing their courses...  Heck,  I could see it happening legitimately...    I could see tons of course creation contest where eventually it's only designers voting..  It's a situation that will most definitively
 self combust and all at the fault of HB..

Yep,  at this point all we have is our voices,  and I'm going to use mine..     If one of their biggest fans is this disgruntled over the shape of things,  they have problems..
Losing Anthony was the worst thing for HB,  not sure if he left cause he saw the writing on the wall,  or it was mutual,  but man on man,  he did a nice job of putting a face
to the game..   I understand that they went over and beyond,  but by doing that,  this was the reason the game did well.

The decisions that have been made have literally left me speechless....

I love the game but this dead horse called total  lack of Multiplayer is a sad reality  and I don't see it changing.

Look at battlegrounds . Over 10 million people have bought it and it's in early access. They have broke records of the amount of people online at once which I think is near 2 million. But HB does not think there is value in MP.

What frustrates me is back in 2004 I was playing Links 2004 (greatest golf game) and they had stroke play, match, nassau, skins, stablefold, best ball, alternate shot all in 1 game and it worked beautifully. 13 years later with all the advanced technology we only have stroke play and match play if it works. How is it that we have gone backwards? TGC2 we have coins but yet we can't play skins?

I totally agree and hear you buddy.  I don't have many "friends" on xboxone.  I mostly play the societies and TGCtours.  TGCtours has been FANTASTIC so far.  Professional website, community boards and just a great feel of a group setting.  What I'd LOVE TO SEE is the ability to have a matchmaking system that pits 2-4 players of similar handicap together to play a friendly round of golf, whether that be as a team or individually (but in a group setting).  I have no idea whether this option was available in TGC1 as I was a late buyer of the game and only played individual courses, alone (sounds sad but I really enjoyed it!).  If this system was available on TGC1 but not TGC2...........I just have no words for that if true.

Links 2004, I believe by XSN sports...........for the XBOX.  What an awesome game that was!!!!!!
