I published my first course in TGC 2 and I played as far as the 9th and 10th holes but both of those had no pins on the green.9 was associated with a different green and and 10 had a pin hidden somewhere else on the course. I set three tee boxes on every hole and two pin placements per green and play tested all variations and it all worked fine until I published. I had published a few courses in TGC 1 and found out about the various mistakes inherent in placing pins and moving greens and fairways etc so i don't think the problem was in my course.

Anyone else run into this problem?

PS- The course is High Mountain TGC1 by Pablo Parski if anyone wants to check it out for me to see if they have the same problem...

Welcome to the club.
Checkout my published courses (UrsinaArctica) on TGC2, rarely anyone without any publishing errors.....
TGC2 is more messed up then just for physics, golfrules, random swing or messy keyboard. But as noone cares....
Workaround for the bypassed workaround: Take it back for reedit, fix it and try to republish.

Steam: UrsinaArctica

Can't re-edit... on at least 4 holes the pin has been moved to another green and it won't let me delete it or move it to where it should be.

I'm curious as to thinking at HB Studios though. They take a really good golf simulation and try to change it in to some social experience but as you pointed out, they add some ridiculous physics to it and some random bad shots when everything about the swing is "perfect". I think I'll just go back to TGC 1. At least for the course designer anyway...

TGC1 was NOT a good "simulation of Golf".

If you aren't interested in realistic gameplay outcomes, by all means go back to TGC1.

The swing in TGC2 is very different for many reasons, but mainly because it incorporates more of the elements of a Golf swing than TGC1 does by a wide margin.

its because a tee is close to another green you need to delete all the tees on the holes you having trouble then start again with one tee then the pins.for some reason it places the pin on the wrong hole

(always remember to save before you try any changes)

here is the pic of the trouble i had a Lytham

saying that i just read you checked in designer, just check its the right pin on right green maybe not the problem.Saying that my problem was on console not PC only guessing.

Oh I like TGC 2 to play... it is definitely more challenging. Thank heavens for the comic relief of the little motorized golf ball that can creep down a small incline at an inch or two per second almost indefinitely . It cracks me up!

I tried deleting pins and moving pins but that didn't hold up so I deleted the bad holes and redid them. I'll see how they handle the republishing process today.
