We could play unpublished course offline in TGC1 to play our designs with wind. So far I can't see a way to that in TGC2.

I know I'm old, fat, stupid and ugly, but could tell me if it can still be done and if so how to do it. It would really help in the designs to know how they play in the wind before we publish them.
Courses Created:

Manahawkin White Water Reserve
Fishermans Dock at South Bethany (On Tour with TGC Tours)
Rocky Top Golf Club
East Satawket Lowlands GC (On Tour with TGC Tours)
Chatham Club of Vancouver Island (On Tour with TGC Tours)

When you are offline you can play any of the course you have unpublished through the course designer.

But playing in the designer is always ideal conditions, very slight breeze.  Once published, courses can play completely different due to wind and weather.  In TGC we could play test courses WITH wind conditions by having the ability to cue up unpublished courses in Play Offline.

Another feature that they took away? My current system is too old to play with the current swing system(which I do appreciate the change) but the more I see about what is gone, what is broken or too easy(fixed the flop and messed up chipping) leads me to stay away from the game even when I do buy a new system.

Hopefully if they can make a 3rd game they take what did succeed with the 2nd game and bring back all the stuff that worked in the original.
Completed courses:

Most of us here are hoping for something good to happen once HB severs ties with MG. IMHO this collaboration is what led to the game being released before it was ready and the underlying issues in the designer.  I truly do think that HB’s vision for TGC2 was that it was intended to be so much more and things which could have been corrected BEFORE RELEASE are now not possible to fix.
I would welcome an HB ONLY produced TGC3 and gladly pay for it provided they get a different engine that’s more conducive to the game.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens
