Bit of a sleepless night gave me loads of time to get more work done on Royal County Down RCR. I have just published the front 9 as a playability beta test.

A lot of planting still to be added which will all be left to the very end. The overall layout and work on splines needed in some areas but thats again being left to the polishing phase. This is merely to test how it plays in the windy conditions and if it plays true to the real life course.

So after a few months of no action due to lack of solid information on the course and then getting hit with weird glitches that were stopping me from planting fairway surfaces that caused rerouting on the back 9 - I have finally got some progress moving again.

can't just jump on the train , snapping away
with my camera at anything that moves ,

I've already got my ticket for Portrush next year but I don't think I'll be doing that course. Have went up and played RCD and don't think I'll be making that trip again anytime soon

Here's an early look at my personal favourite hole at RCD - The 13th. This hole caused all sorts of trouble during the Irish Open a few years ago. There was 2 13's taken here

So.after seeing the new game was available for a few minutes last night I stayed up all night waiting for it to be announced - managed to have a rough copy for 17 holes with just the 18th to go. Might hold off on polishing until the new game is out

Royal County Down - Beta 1.0

Possibly the last course I will publish through TGC2, but with time running out a little I wanted to at least have a published beta to do some testing and give ye a feel for how it should play.

I started this course back in January so it's taken quite a while to get this far. The front 9 was put together when my skills on the designer weren't as good as I would've liked and because of that I bailed until I got better.

So the front 9 needs a revamp. The back 9 I'm just waiting on green information so I can polish off the back 9. It's still roughly 2-3 weeks away from completion depending on time availability but really has come to life.

Hope you Finish it in TGC2,it seems not many new items in TGC 2019 to mess course up.
