On the round setup page there is the option to play the round as handicap or not. When I choose "no" the round is played as handicapped anyway. On my page the default setting is no. Am I missing something or what? I normally play with ghosts and sometimes like to play just a leisurely game.
Comments or flames appreciated.

If you leave a round for any reason, including crashes and manual Quit, when you come back to play the scoring is handicap no matter what your settings are.  it's a long-standing bug in the game.

OK, I'm not quitting, crashing or pausing the game. I go to "round setup" and choose no for handicap. The game starts and stays as a handicap round no matter what I do. The only way I've found to play without handicap scoring is to play courses that are not yet rated. I maybe need to contact HB ask what's happening. Even IRL I can play a couple of rounds non handicap before the weekend.

are you playing The Golf Club 2 because that`s sounds like you are playing the TGC 1 version

This is true but does not happen all the time. Reason i say that again I play a lot and the HCP bug bullS*it happens i see when i reboot by closing the game off in window mode then reboot pc and ONLY in live real time rival turn order ON based games

I'm on PS4.  The bug on PS4 occurs even when I play alone.

I am in no way associated with HB but i will bet my life on it your troubles will never be fixed until a new installment which = more cash from you.

Well pretty sure anyway. I've run TGC since open beta and pre-ordered TGC2 and got the proverbial gold driver. TGC2 is the one with the really pretty water. right?
