So here's a little something that I started working on last spring that is now just about complete.  The Club at Old Mill Creek is located in Northern Illinois about an hour drive north of Chicago, just past the Six Flags Amusement Park.

The course features huge open mown areas with large raised greens that were designed to play fast and firm.  This par 72 plays at just over 7,250 yards from the tips with two member's teeing areas as well.

Designed using TGC1, I ported over and published a couple of betas recently for final testing and you're all welcome to give them a go and let me know what you think.  The latest betas are called TC@OMC beta 03b and TC@OMC beta tour with the tour version having lightning fast greens and playing from the tips with tournament flair around the teeboxes and clubhouse.

The golf course is complete, and now I'm pretty much just testing pins and conditions for the grand opening.  Expect three versions at launch sometime in the 2nd or 3rd week of June.  Stay tuned...

Thanks man, I know that you've been playing them all from the beginning and I appreciate that.  Not too much longer, just finishing up the tournament version and then I'll release them all at once.

Sweet.  I hope I did the area justice.  I grew up a bit farther north (Minnesota) but my wife's family are all from Lake County.  It looked like some nice land to build a golf course and I hope you get a chance to give it a try when it's all done.
