As a native long islander and with the PGA coming there in May of 2019, i was disappointed with the lack of Black represented on TGC2.  I have been working the past week on bringing an accurate depiction to the platform - with the ultimate hope of porting it over to TGC2019 upon release.  I am through about 12 holes.  I have attached some of the work thus far. 

Let me know your thoughts.

Nice one. There is actually a full rcr of Bethpage coming in TGC 2019 courtesy of Michael Flood (ACES-ARE-WILD) But two will do lol

Just got a proper look - looks really great but the trees are possibly either a touch too big or too close to the fairway, possibly both??

Was their for the barclays and played it a few weeks after, I just remember them being smaller

Black is 99% complete.  Have to re-address rolling of some greens.  Should be published by tomorrow PM.

Ok so played it last night and im going to keep my reactions to it as positive as I can.

Does it look like Bethpage? In places yes it does. I know looking at the layout of a few holes that im playing Bethpage.

Would I play it again?? Probably not, at least not if the finished product is similar. Its a bit rushed, it doesnt look like the measurements are accurate in places which throws off the look a bit, and greens are a bit much in places. Just needs some polishing and itll be on its way.

Its a great start, but I think itll need more work to convince me. But then again I like my real course recreations to be as accurate as possible and not everyone is the same or might not share the same views as myself.

I hope you keep working on it before publishing full version.

He said he was back at the start of the year but havent really seen anything surface from it. He was also talking about doing Muirfield, OH and Sheshan around the same time so hard to know tbh.

Played it today and I did enjoy it but wasn’t so keen on the ribbon thin fairways on some holes even if it is like that. I would play it again for fun if the fairways could be widened on some holes.

Yeah they played kinda tight especially with the wind I drew to play with. Pretty tough course on balance.
