I don't know if it is isolated to just me and my friend that play online together but a lot of very strange things have been going on for the past 3 or 4 weeks.  Mainly it is the controller working, then not working. I also now have issues wheerby during the game all of a sudden boxes are opening up on my other screen that have nothing to do with the game from moves using the controller.   One big annoyance is this keyboard that pops open on the game screen and it is coming from steam. Not sure how to get rid of it short of bailing out and restarting. The annoyance is so great some nights we just pack it in and quit.

Anybody else out there experiencing these strange phenomenons? 

Also wanted to get the lowdown on another issue.  If we are playing a course that is handicapped and one player has to leave for whatever reason...when they get back in the game the scores are all incorrect for the player that returns now has incorrect scoring based on handicaps that make absoulutely no sense.  Worse than that is due to this handicap working on only one player...depending on the outcome of the score on the previous hole I will see my opponent on the tee and after a while I ask him why he is not hitting and he says I'm on the tee deck.  At that point I have to leave the game , come back and then I am on the tee deck.... We can't be the only  ones experiencing this and why is not the game techies not fixing this issue?

I think you need to turn off "sticky keys" for the calculator popping up while playing TGC on Steam. I had this problem using a controller, but forgot how I fixed it. I may have changed something in Big Picture settings.

Tonight was another nightmare.  The controller seems to be opening applications from my desktop behind the game or right clicking on shortcut keys.  That keyboard continually appeared and disapeared all game.   I can't be the only one experiencing this as my buddy I play with online experienced this about 3 weeks ago.  Steam is completely %$%^%$.  Thanks for ruining the experience.

I have always had "bleed through" of my game screen which activates whatever is behind my game.  For instance, when scrolling the in-game menu with my mouse or while using my controller I see my desktop icons highlighting as my mouse passes over them even though I'm actually in the game.  Nothing actually opens behind my game screen but definitely becomes activated as the in-game cursor passes over it.  I hope you can make sense of that.

As for the incorrect scores for a returning player, this is a long standing bug for TGC2 that has been complained about forever!  HB has shown no interest in correcting the issue in the past and I highly doubt they will change their thoughts on this now either.

As for the issue where you see your opponent up to hit while he is seeing you up to hit, there is no need to leave the game to fix this.  Simply uncheck your turn order box, take your shot and turn turn order it back on again by rechecking the box.  You should be back in sync again after this and see each other in proper order once again.
