I posted something awhile back about the frequency of game crashes. I have come to realize this will never be addressed now that 2019 is being released. I am trying to finish my last course design before 19 and I cant even do that. Either it's just me or this game is designed mainly for pc users. I have been told to check for updates on both game, and PS4, both are up to date. Memory for PS4 is around 70% so it's not that. The limit bar on game while designing is around 40% and about every 2-3 minutes the game crashes. Does not matter if I am sculpting or trying to place something. I have submitted the clips with reviews to Sony probably a hundred times but that will never do anything. I am not sure if buying 19 is a wise decision, designing has just become a pain anymore. There are so many things I want to do before posting the course but will probably have to post premature due to frustration. Tell me others on console have the same issues?

On ps4 it's something we all experience
and have just got used to it , no matter
how often you save it won't register with
the memory, I amount of times I've just
saved then the next action blue screen.
To be fair to hb it's not their fault,
it's all down to Sony this one.

I realize that now appreciate it Ken. Keith and other HB guys have always responded to me and tried to remedy it for me. I have never had any of my other games crash ever so I thought it was the game, reading other posts explaining how PS4 saves games etc I realize it's not going away. Thing is 90% of my time is spent designing so it's just frustrating and knowing others experience as well makes it a little easier to handle now.

Thanks again

70% on PS4 is the normal time mine starts crashing too.  I hoped that upgrading to the Pro would solve this.... but no dice.  I’m convinced that the problem lies in temporary memory capacity.  I’m not sure of the exact specs for the PS4s, but most PCs undoubtedly have way more.  Even on PC I still run into issues when I get up around that range.  The game will freeze up and the screen goes black if I don’t save frequently.  If I Ctrl/ Alt/Del a couple times I can at least bring it back and not lose any work.
Save, Save, Save is all I can tell you.  At least on PC it is possible to use up every bit of the object bar even though I hardly ever do.  Good luck.

I spoke with Tech Support (PS4) yesterday and they had me save online to Playstation Plus and do a few things and must say so far so good. Only issue I had was apparently only 3 of my 12 courses were saved (backed up) so I lost the rest including my latest and best course yet!!!! I had maybe an hour or two to go to touch things up and post but this was the course that I had been having non stop crashes on. I could not even load the course up before crashing there at the end. Sucks I lost all that time easily 80+ hours in that one. I started working on the recreation last night and went 8 hours with no issues but then again memory is probably at 10%. I agree most of my crashes previously occurred around 60-70% up until the last course. Will see what the future holds. Lost most of my other saved data on other games but oh well I am a TGC junkie anyways!

Sorry to hear this..  Switch to designing on PC when you get 19.  You’ll be much happier and much less frustrated.

When stable and accessible TGC2 was great, giving hours of enjoyment, but quite frankly, TGC2 on PS4 was at times unfit for purpose.

Very well stated. Last month was a nightmare. Limping along this far and no issues to speak of.....fingers crossed. I by no means are about to drop 1k on a PC just for this game so hopefully bugs are gone and no issues with 19.
