Congratulations HB , you really know
how to chase away even more designers
by this new course , we have been asking
for decent rocks for years only getting the
same old junk game after game , along
with the pot bunkers on Renaissance club
it shows it can  be done you just won't
allow them to get used in the designer
        ( SO DISAPPOINTED )

Exactly what I was thinking. I can’t be bothered to do any more courses now. No new backgrounds either.

I agree with you Ken.

They have heaps of objects in official courses they don't want to share with users who use the course designer.

I can understand that the men who give out green jackets might have demanded of 2K that the "Hogan Bridge" texture be changed to make it look different, because that's just what they're like. But why take away the red, white and blue canvas. It seems a bit mean.

I am of the opinion that for commercial and possibly legal reasons 2K is unlikely to improve the range of objects, textures, backgrounds etc. any time in the near future. But it would be nice to be proven wrong.

Cheers

I agree with all of you guys….. especially on backgrounds.  Those are really getting stale.
My main pet peeve is that we never got the malleable rocks that were a part of the 2019 Beta.
We designers could squish, stretch and rotate all of the existing rocks 360*.  That made the options endless.  For some reason that never made it into the final game… or the next… or this one.
I think that they’re pretty good on trees and plants now.
Another thing we still need…. FESCUE.  It can somewhat be accomplished in places by spamming in longer grasses to the existing heavy rough….. but it destroys the object meter.  We could really use a slider for grass depth on the rough and heavy rough.
It would be really nice to get some of those buildings too.  And a Cityscape background etc, etc, etc…
Maybe the modular pieces to create new buildings and townhouses as we designers can imagine them?
It was a big step backwards to take away the colored canvas fences too. Maybe they could put in an option for us to paint the existing ones?  Moving vehicles along roadways?

Ditto to all you've said RockMan. I would only add that I would like to see some "native" ground never touched. Things like HEAVY groundcover, vines, fallen branches downed trees, mixed grasses up to your waist.
Currently plots look like they have been pre-groomed. I'd settle for it as an added surface that you could use  where needed.
