And ErixonStone, you'll notice in the video that the edit menu for a spline handle does not give you the "Second Surface" attribute.
Why don't you try deleting the rough spline altogether and then adding the rough as a second surface to the fairway spline? I know that sounds like extra work, but then you don't have to keep messing with spline waypoint handles to get your fairway and rough to match up.
Well 1st let me mention that this was a port & I was patching in a section to an existing fairway. The patch went down as fairway 1st then rough but I needed to move a fwy waypoint a little to meet up with the older area. Then I realized that when I try to move the rough handles that needed to be lined back up with the fairway as the video shows waypoints & handles disappear.
In TGC2 it wasn't an issue, simply use the measuring tool, edit, highlight the surface handles, & mark them with measuring tool.
In TGC2019 it seems like that function is no longer available, again as the video shows. Go to edit highlight surface splines, select measuring tool & waypoints & handles disappear, again as the video shows.
Now I haven't tried a new section nor have I had the need to yet since I'm just working on port overs but if your saying that laying down 'new' surfaces on top of each other like fairway then rough & all handles will line up correctly then that'll be a thing of beauty for ensuing designs. My gosh since splines have come in to the picture it's been nothing but time consuming building fairways & greens with multiple layers. I'll have to take a look at that later but for now the question to HB or anyone who may have figured it out, is there another way to line em' up if their off? Or was this something omitted or overlooked in the designer?
