I just noticed today when donating coins to society you are not applying the full amount. Example balance of 327 in bank , donate 100, new balance should be 427 yet it is 417. Did this several times with several different amounts. Something not right there, unless HB is pocketing some change ( :P) you might want to check that out.

There will be a pop up added that mentions that there is a 10% reduction of society transactions.

What is the reason for the 10% reduction to donate to a society? I earned my coins by playing your game why can't I spend them as I want to. What's next, will you start taxing us when we buy a shirt.

I will not be purchasing coins if I not able to use the full amount in game how ever I please. Especially if I paid for it.  It's like tossing 10 percent of my cash out the window for no reason at all.

You already tossed 100% of that cash out the window for no reason at all...

Only cash I have put out has been by purchasing the game which in my opinion was worth it. They have made many improvements and back to enjoying this game where I was getting a bit bored with tgc2. I know it has some glitches, to be expected and I am appreciative of responses I have received from the HB team on concerns I personally have addressed to them.  The coin purchase is a choice of what I personally wish to do with my own finances, so whether I choose to buy or opt out is totally up to me. And yes I would be throwing 10 percent of that in thin air which I will not do. I do not see the purpose or benefit to HB for having to take away 10 percent of any of my coins I have rightfully earned and how I spend them regardless of donation or for items should not be penalized any percentage.

Talking about buying coins, not the game purchase.

And was I.  I never bought coins, can't get them on Steam and after learning of the  10% deduction fee (in game when donating ) I will never buy them. So 100 % cash is in my pocketbook and there to stay

There will be a pop up added that mentions that there is a 10% reduction of society transactions.

Well Well, it is not only the donations you are taking 10 percent of as I noticed today. Members paying 300 entry fee with my give back of 50 percent should tally to 150 in the winning pot, yet only 135 per member is actually going into the pot.  Are you also taking another 10 percent off the bonus money as well?  This is something HB needs to revisit, this is ridiculous and unwarranted.  Those coins were EARNED therefore no penalties should be placed upon us.  I get the whole micro transaction thing, problem is it is not even working anyhow via steam. And that you want to make more money off of anyone that cares to spend cash for something, but if they chose to  spend their hard earned money, then they should be getting what they paid for.  I play many many games, I have bought many things from other developers who offered product to enhance the game, never In my life of gaming has something like this come up until now.  If I paid for a special car , I did not get half a car. If I paid for a mask, I did not get half a mask. If I paid for bullets, I got my full clip not 10 percent taken out. This is just a bad decision all the way around.  I spend countless hours playing this game and running a society. The challenges that I make end up going into my society to give back to my community yet you feel you can take 10 percent of that and tossing it in thin air. How are you giving back to us here?

PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY COINS I want to post this to ever thread on the forum here and keep posting it until HB tells us why or stops taking 10% of coins given to societies as donations and prize money from societies for players in the society.

I could maybe see this if we were able to purchase coins on steam (or the store of the platform you are playing on). They do have to maintain their servers and that costs money. But you can't buy them on Steam and I assume the other platform stores. So what's the purpose of this? If it's to get ready, then do it when coins are available for purchase. Until then drop the stupid fee.

I could also see it if we were able to transfer coins to another player, but we can't even do that. Not that I want to, I don't. But there is no logical purpose for surcharges this at this time.

And as for donating to a society, The President can't draw any of those coins to his personal funds.

This is totally lame ... what is the logic for deducting ANY percentage of coins? Won or, donated?

This requires some explanation from a higher source. Beyond that of the community organizer.

The logic is to starve the economy to stimulate monetization. Unless there is a mechanic in game spitting out large amounts of coins that will inflate society pools beyond what is desirable. I am guessing monetization.

We join a society with a membership fee of 100 coins.  HB takes their 10% leaving 90 coins to hit the society's bank.  This applies to every player that joins every society.

We join a society event with a 100 coin entry fee.  HB takes their 10% leaving 90 coins to hit the events prize purse.  This also applies to every player that joins every event.

Lets say the event has been setup to pay:
300 coins for First place.  HB takes their 10% leaving 270 coins to actually go to the player.
200 coins for Second place.  HB takes their 10% leaving 180 coins to actually go to the player.
100 coins for Third place.  HB takes their 10% leaving 90 coins to actually go to the player.
HB takes 10% of every payout!

I donate 5000 coins to my society.  HB takes their 10% leaving 4500 coins to actually go to the society.

So, we get taxed for joining a society.  Taxed for playing in a society.  Taxed for winning in a society!  Taxed for donating to a society!

C'mon HB!  This is excessive wouldn't you say?

There is no doubt that coin purchases will be working very soon.  That is most likely priority #1 for the first patch.
