Did I miss something, doesn’t seem to be any help for designers on PS4 in the patch

Gotta agree. I ported one course over, Wardsville's Theodore 9 hole, to see how it would work. I just put 2019 in a week ago. I took a look in the designer and there is a circle of heavy rough in the middle of my 3rd fairway that is covered by a fairway shape but I cannot get rid of the heavy rough circle. I was hopeful that the patch might do something there. I am sadly disappointed in 2019. It all looks so phony and catoony to me. Going to take a lot of getting used to I'm afraid and don't know if I am young enough to ever see that day.

The drag and sculpt is fixed.
And the surface brushes , they were
reverting back to small after a click .
Not noticed anything else yet ,
although the hexagonal spline is still
massive when you zoom right in.
If your bunkers were at the edge of
the fairway in golf club 2 you could trim
one edge , you can't do that anymore as
you just can't see what your doing.
Perhaps it was in the £50 update
I could only afford the £45 version !

The brushes staying the same size when switching between textures again is a big help.
The 2 biggest things needed in my opinion are.....

Making water features follow the contour of the land and objects.

360* Rotation and the ability to squeeze and stretch rock shapes.

Aside from that, the only other thing I can think of would be to make all objects universal to all themes.

fencing needs an overall it should snap to any terrain, having to stagger fencing when going up or downhill really restricts making a mountainous terrain look authentic, bare patches would be nice, slower high falls, proper rough transition, leaves, i found the raise and lower blue brushes don't work as well, trying to flatten a slope only the edge of the brush flattens, better low falls to mimic water flow around rocks etc etc etc.
