Dumb question, are you sure there wasn't any land that was sculpted with the wrong tool around? I know that could cause an issue like that just like if it were too near water.

The bunker was placed on a mound created with the softest round brush using the blue tools.

Captain, is that bunker fairly small?  When the bunker brushes are scaled down quite small they aren't staying uniform with the shape of the brush once planted, it's on the list, but thanks for the report!

No - I only go small when laying a circular or oval bunker shape a la links type wher there might be a group of bunkers. With the other shapes I usually go for a reasonable size.

You can see from one of my images there is what you might call a "ghost" of the original shape I selected as a lower pink level under the round shape placed. I understand that you wouldn't be able to tell the scale from a photo but it can be seen that the selected shape is reasonably larger than the placed shape.

Just tried another shape selected and it produces a roundish shape again.
