i think the poster above (kelson) is talking about one of the new courses added to multiplayer.
yes i see that, its a bit weird why hb does it then, why dont they jsut take the list form tgc tours , for example, i think those are mostly ok.

So is it Wagtail GC,Orchard lake, and Gardens of Balor Added so far then.

Wagtail is a very, very poorly made course when it comes to competitive play.

Why didn't they just use all of the official courses?

All of them are at least okay courses.

That simply makes too much sense.

I've given up on this game. It is a mess. I let my nephew play on my account today. He has destroyed my handicap lol

It does seem platinum point is messing up player's HCP,not sure if HB can do it without a patch, but the course needs removing from Online play.

It appears playing Platinum Point in Matchmaking, is making handicaps
go haywire. My handicap now is 23.8, and my handicap diff is -228.8.
Could this be looked into please.

Real shame this.

It really is a shame as it is close to being a knockout if a game. With the length of time it has taken to get this patch out, I expected  better in all honesty as there are little things that were patched that if they tested just a little, they should've seen the bugs before releasing.

The bugs being reported post patch (par 3 glitch, Platinum Point, poor choice of courses for matchmaking, PGA TOUR issues caused, balls staying on the green when playing Private Matches) as well as some original bugs not yet fixed, the massive divide in the swing changes simplifying the game making their original changes to the swing near enough pointless, just screams lack of testing which I'd expect of say Codemasters who have released like 14 patches already for F1 in such a short time.

I was SO shocked by this occurring as I lined up a putt, only to see my normal swing take place, yet the ball didn't move.  But wait...........it DID move.  I was just looking at a ghost ball that never moved, and never tracked my missed putt from 5 feet away. I missed two putts from this distance on consecutive holes, mostly because of how angry I was the second time this happened.  A horrible, horrible quality issue IMHO.  Let's also not forget about having to put "through" your opponent's ball now if it's in your line of path.  Neither of these issues occurred on the green pre-patch.  It DID occur on pitches (you'd still see your ball on the fringe yet your actual ball was hit) but this was far less of a distraction than having to hit your actual ball through your opponents ball due to it being in your line of path.

A lack of quality control of this magnitude, months after release, took away all credibility in this process. Feels like an awful bunch of wasted time.

HB had the option of a beta per Alan Bunker but again they nixed the idea. They had barely a 48 hour test for multiplayer. They thought that was enough. The whole day 1 launch till now has been a debacle. No idea what is planned and nobody on HB's end is letting us know. They have the PGA license and hopefully they don't squander it.
