The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA TOUR Forum Rules
The Golf Club is a video game franchise about a sport which prides itself on challenge, sportsmanship and respect. Just as those are pillars of the sport of golf, so too are they the pillars in The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA TOUR’s game community. To that end, it is our aim to create a community that fosters respectful discussion that is free from harassment, name-calling, derogatory remarks, or otherwise unnecessarily negative comments of any kind, be they directed at the game, the developers, the company, other forum members, or anyone else.
Please see below for the rules that will govern this forum from this point forward:
Forum Rules:
• No malicious, derogatory, degrading, offensive, or otherwise hostile comments will be tolerated in The Golf Club's forums. You are free to dislike the game, or what someone has said, but you should express your disagreement articulately, respectfully and without hostility. Furthermore, your comments should always be about the point someone is making, and never about: the person making it, HB Studios company, our licensing partners or other business partners. Members disregarding the rules will be banned and have their account deleted at the discretion of HB Studios.
• Any unnecessarily negative, trolling, or abusive comments will be considered inappropriate. The comments will be removed and the member will be banned and have their account deleted at the discretion of HB Studios.
• Members must conduct themselves with civility and common decency. If you have a question or problem you wish to highlight or discuss, do so with civility.
• Members should be honest and truthful with facts. Deliberately misleading statements and falsehood are not acceptable.
• No profanity, expletives and foul language is permitted, even if certain letters are removed.
• Comments that refer directly to the intent to cheat or include the names of devices used to cheat will be considered inappropriate. The comments will be removed and the member will be banned and have their account deleted at the discretion of HB Studios.
• In the past, a single forum member may have received a number of warnings for inappropriate behavior. Please note a member will no longer receive a warning so follow the rules!
• Any comments that involve derogatory statements about race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religious preference, politics, or anything else in this vein, will not be tolerated. The comments will be removed and the member will be banned and have their account deleted at the discretion of HB Studios.
• Any member who creates multiple accounts will receive an immediate and permanent ban.
• The forums will be actively monitored by HB Studios and determinations as to the inappropriate nature of posts, as well as subsequent actions, will be made solely by HB Studios and at their discretion. Threatening, belligerent, abusive or aggressive behavior with any member of HB Studios or toward the company will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the forums. Please allow up to 72 hours for a response to any posts or questions.
• Any member deemed to be spoiling the experience and creating a negative or toxic environment for other members or members of HB Studios will be banned at the discretion of HB Studios. This may include those members who are deemed to be making frequent and persistent negative posts.
• HB Studios may ban members who are known to be disparaging toward the company on other forums and public outlets like social media.
• HB Studios may delete posts which are seen to support or promote products which compete with our games or the products of our partners.
• This is a forum operated by HB Studios. If you don’t like the rules or are unable to conduct yourself according to the rules, then we recommend you do not take part. This is a safe, family friendly environment for respectful, civil discussion where we hope you will make new friends and enjoy talking directly to members of HB Studios.
• Members disregarding any of the rules will be banned and have their account deleted at the discretion of HB Studios. We have zero tolerance for rule-breakers and unfriendly behavior.
In the most simple terms, our aim is to create a community that is a fun place to go to talk about The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA TOUR, without worrying about undue negativity. We appreciate passion, as well as different viewpoints, and we hope to see both in our forums. But each of these ideals can be served without hostility. So, like the sport of golf, we will expect courtesy and respect.
