Welcome to Clear Lake Golf Course

Located in Riding Mountain National Park at the east end of Clear Lake, the Clear Lake Golf Course is one of the most unique, picturesque and environmentally friendly golf courses in Manitoba, Canada.

The Clear Lake Golf Course was built in two stages commencing in 1928. Renowned architect Stanley Thompson designed the front nine while the back nine was designed and built by Vic Creed with supervision from Park Superintendent Jim Smart.  The complete course was open for play in the spring of 1934.

Stretching to 6,309 yards, the Clear Lake Golf Course provides a unique experience for golfers of all skill levels. The undulating landscape and picturesque views will make you feel like you are not in Manitoba; it's an experience unlike any other!

Designer's Comments

My second course and a true pleasure to build, Clear Lake provides a fun challenge with huge elevation changes and fast, hard-to-read greens. While not a long course by any measure, the true test for the average golfer will come from the heavily sloped fairways and highly undulating greens. The par threes provide a particular challenge as many feature large drops in elevation with well guarded greens. Your tee time is set as dawn breaks, with the low lying sun casting long flowing shadows through the haze of the morning mist.  If you're unsure as to which way the ball will break, you can almost always count on it running toward the lake.  Good luck and I hope you enjoy the course!
