I picked a fine day to wait until noon (EDT) to logon to the internet

What can I say, this is fantastic news! I'm even more shocked that it's getting announced now in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown, but then again, it might be getting more attention now because there's more of a 'captive' audience for this sort of thing? I know a heck of a lot more people are playing online now.
Interesting to see that "The Golf Club" has been dropped from the title. Now that it's being titled "PGA TOUR 2K21", one would think it would be tapping much heavier into a PGA TOUR license. We should at least see more official PGA TOUR courses in the game, but I've seen nothing yet to suggest that player likenesses, or even names have been licensed for use.
If PGA 2K21 is like the Tiger Woods series, they'll have to negotiate contracts with each individual play for likenesses used, but EA was able to work some kind of deal to get the rights to use all the PGA TOUR player names. I'm curious to see how they handle this, but I'm thinking there has got to be some recognizable faces in this game, this time around. It looks like 2K may factor more prominently into the marketing of this game, so this could very well happen in a manner similar to EA.
Most of the questions I have about this game probably aren't sexy enough to make a bullet list and won't be answered until release date; questions such as:
1.) Will the swing interface be changed such that tempo affects distance & push/pull and swing path affects hook/slice?
2.) Will the swing be more granular such that it's possible to reasonably possible to modulate an 85% pitch shot, or a 90% approach shot?
3.) Will the Society tournament leaderboard take into account what hole the ghost ball players in your group are actually playing with you before reporting their scores for up to 14 holes in advance?
4.) Will proper ball drops, in all cases, be possible?
5.) Can we play a fellow Society member in a tournament round in real time, like we can now in online matchmaking?
6.) Will there be a matchup lobby?
7.) Will backspin be more accurately modeled in approach shots?
8.) Will there be a "concede" button in match play?
I realize that none of my questions would merit sexy bullet points in a feature list, but they are what stir my drink right now. Anyway, very curious to see what HB Studios and 2K have in store for us on May 14th!
