When you are playing a course and you are wanting to know how the green slopes, but you are outside the range of the grid - I thought there was a way of "turning on the grid" for the unmarked area. I tried changing clubs (from the putter), but that did not work. Can this be done?

Nope.  Judging from the promo videos I have seen it does look like the grids will cover most if not all of the green in the new game though.

Sandsaver, that will be nice in the new version. I thought that I saw a YouTube video where someone was on the green, outside of the green grid, and changed from his putter to another club and it turned on the green grid where he was standing.

This does work if you are outside of the main grid. Just switch to any other club than the putter, press and hold the left or right trigger (can't remember which one atm) and you will get a lie grid that covers a few square feet around your golfer. At least then you will have some idea as to how your putt should start.

It depends if it’s turned off in settings you can’t see a grid on TST

Thanks, I knew that I had seen this done before. I play on a PC and you hit the "shift" key after changing to another club other then the putter. As you stated you only see the area around your player, but it at least gives you additional information. I did this, but forgot to hit the "shift" key after changing clubs.
