After an eight year PlayStation 4 hiatus I'm back with a series x.  Haven't bought anything yet but I'm reading what you guys are saying and waiting to see if there is some kind of announcement later this month.  I'm sure the next game will have all that everyone wants for this new generation of consoles.     Btw.  I switched back because I think Microsoft is lined up to have the best exclusives and now MLB has stepped in to force it's hand in bringing the show to the Xbox. (The clincher)   Flight simulator looks interesting and es6 will be exclusive.
Only $15 but I already have PGA2K21 for PS4 and my rtx2070 gaming machine.     I probably shouldn't bother with the series X version, right?

Kudos on your Series X purchase.  I've had mine for over a year now and I'm still appreciating its many advantages daily.  As for  PGA TOUR 2K21 on the Series X, I'd pay $15 for it to benefit from its mostly solid 60 FPS performance over the PS4 version, running at 30.  I'd imagine your rtx2070 PC can probably run the PC version at 60 FPS, so if you've got that, I can't justify going with the XBox version for what we've got remaining before PGA TOUR 2K23 comes out.  Now if you've got XBox friends and Societies in which you want to compete, I could justify it.  I know I wouldn't be able to have a chance in the two Societies I compete in weekly if I wasn't getting the benefit of the 60 FPS performance the Series X provides.

Thanks,. I almost bought the $15 Xbox version but I don't think I need it.  Still run a long standing society on PS4 as well as dabble with the much better looking PC version.  Yes. I can run 4k ,60fps on the rtx 2070.    I'm sure the next game will be an Xbox series x buy as well as a ps buy if others haven't moved on from the PS4 yet. We'll see.  Got my brother into the game. (Who never really played many vid. Games). But after next week we will have completed our 2nd consecutive 55 event season.   Also have some really good regulars that we play with on ps.. so thats a big consideration as well.
PGA2K21 has been a fun game with all of it's upgrades both cosmetically and in gameplay.  I hope the follow up game is just as exciting.
And, yes I know career mode needs work and some gameplay issues.  I agree with all of you on that

Best hardware I have ever had but two things that I cannot stand. The Resume play and no wireless chat mic for those of us who have surround sound. The resume play never works with game that you have to log in online. Well not the ones I play. My distain for the wired chat mic that I have to pug into my controller is evident by the amount of times I throw the thing after I uplug it. I bet I have bought 10 of them in a couple of years.

I'm in your boat on both counts!  How they could leave something so elemental dangling this far into the release is beyond belief!?
