Let me start by saying I think PGA Tour 2K21 is a fantastic game and I love it. But trying to get a game in multiplayer mode is my biggest source of frustration. "Connecting to Players" - it just spins forever. "Joining match" - it just spins forever. I can see the player icons pop up in the background so I know there are always people trying to join a game. So many times I can't connect and I have to cancel and try over and over to connect before I finally get in. Can't HB Studios fix this? Man, that would be great!

Private matches are way better with people you know.  You also get to pick the course and the settings.

I would suggest joining a society that plays the game like you do then make some friends to play PMs with.

I just discovered that a big part of the problem I was having connecting to matchmaking games was because my NAT type was "Strict". I changed the NAT type to "Open" and connecting is way easier. https://support.xbox.com/en-CA/help/hardware-network/connect-network/xbox-one-nat-error describes NAT type functionality and how to change the type to "Open".

When I started up my xbox one today I saw that the NAT type had changed back from "Open" to "Strict". Any ideas as to why?

Contacted MS. The support person had me change some network settings (DNS, port #) and it's all fixed now. NAT type is "Open".
