Tough course and some crazy pins on round two. I shot 19 over round 2 sitting at 22 I think. Was a mess. I was playing decent that day before. Really was frustrating. Reminded me so much of real golf. I was like wtf is happening here?

I'm starting to think the zombies and shadows cause some of the issues though. I do tend to play better local or in private matches. No so erratic.

That being said pressure can cause you to do play horrible as well. I really wanted a great start to season. Looking back I was playing way to tight and it certainly caused a lot of mental errors which lead to many bad swings.

Bottom line forgetting the variables you gotta be on point every swing. Not a second off. It's crazy.

Just played two private rounds with Mayhem at Firestone and the clown course that people love and holy **** I was worn out after those courses. We had two awesome matches though. Probably the best yet.

I played round 3 last night and it was brutal.  I was looking at a 16 foot putt for birdie on the first hole, and walked away with an SLE   That hole was sitting on a crown and I just couldn't pick up how it was contoured.  I ran my first putt over and beyond it, and off the green.  The only positive note I had from this round is I tallied 4 pars!  I had three triple bogeys and one quad, and I lost track of how many doubles I had.  I think I shot like 104 or 106, which was a slight improvement over my second round 110.

Master difficulty is waaaaaay above me pay grade, especially with no grids.  I'll finish it out though, my goal is to break 90 in this final round.  I would take that as an accomplishment!

What other Xbox societies play Sim settings on more realistic golf courses.
Tried TGCTours & a couple of others but they are all playing fantasy  courses.

Any recommendations anyone?

Paul, I've had two firsts in the current 4 Letter Word event this week.  For the first time in my 2K21 career, I broke 90 in Masters difficulty (grids, wind, aiming cam or not).  Then, in round 3, I actually shot a 77, which included a 5-putt green!  I still can only be found on the last page of the leaderboard, but I'm trending up!

If this game had a TGC 2019 caliber punch shot, I'd have probably broken 90 a lot sooner

If this game had a TGC 2019 caliber punch shot, I'd have probably broken 90 a lot sooner 

It may not be the 2019 punch but you can punch it (you've probably done this I'm sure) with various clubs setting the true shot LB up & controlling the amount of roll out with RB. Takes some time on the driving range to get a read on distances by club but it does work.

Yeah, I've used that manufactured, quasi-punch shot, but I can't keep it as low as the trajectories seen on 2019.  I shorten my backswing to as low as I can get with a fully delofted and "de-back-spun" 3-iron, and it'll still clip limbs 10 feet off the ground and 10 yards away.  I'm sure I could improve in this area though...

Yeah I feel ya there, they should've left it in in lieu of a made up 'splash' which I assume took it's place, idk! The 'splash' could've been implemented by way of partial swings with a wedge/flop imo. But I'm no game maker!

I posted I don't care about using fasts it's the very fasts on purpose I don't want people to do. Nothing wrong with playing for a draw via tempo it's playing for very fast which is supposed to be a mi****.

The punch shot works best for me with the 5 and 6 irons. Both sliders to the top and it goes pretty low.
