If the game is not on PC, then that’s the end for Lidar designs surely?

I’ve seen that it will be on PC.  Hope it isn’t LiDar compatible though.
Why, the Lidar designers bring so much to this game?

So reading the pre-order pages more, these ball sleeves have got me a bit meh about the game - common, epic and rare types of balls. Please don't tell me these are going to be way unrealistic attributes like in FIFA packs where rare balls have mega OTT spin and distance. Screams all these golf arcade games on mobiles. If this is the case, there HAS to be an option to lock the type of balls allowed in societies. In fact, they just need a partition to segregate sim golf vs arcade golf rubbish.

Edit: also I find it highly amusing that this forum and TGCT forum has way more traffic than the official 2K site.

The 2k forum is a joke. HB devs was supposed to move over there as well..

So far, the information has me positive about realism in the game - so judgement on balls will have to wait. But I noticed today that there also is something new: "Lie management" - which again is very positive. Ball lie is everything in golf, so for realism - this is great news.

I cannot log in there anymore ... I think I've been booted out .

The moderator is so cringeworthy bias, he will only accept posts that are licking 2K.s boots .... there is zero tolerance for criticism, however constructive.

The bug reporting is beyond a joke, interacting with people who have never played the game and being told to clear my cache and we will pass it on to the devs.

How condescending ......

Didn't buy the last game, first Golf Club game I've skipped, because they removed the offline single player society mode. Still can't understand why they took it out and I'm assuming it won't be added back in to the new game.

I was quite excited when 2k came on board as their NBA games have been excellent for the most part.  I can see now though with the details announced for this new edition that 2k are moving to pull in more casual gamers with arcade style play and the sort of features that were in EAs old Tiger Woods games.

It feels like a slap in the face for long time Golf Club players. If they wanted to make an arcadey golf game why didn't they just do that? Why did they have to hijjack our game series?

I see that there are no
details for developments to the course creator. Wouldn't surprise me if the mode is eventually dropped altogether so they can push people to DLC courses instead. The graphics haven't moved on since PS4 days either, which given that the PS5 has been here a little while now is disappointing to.

I'll probably be skipping this next iteration unless there are a lot more enticing details announced before October.
COURSES:

- Camp Crystal Lake
- Haddonfield Country Club
- Antonio Bay (The Fog)
- Overlook Hotel & Country Club

Many of the 3rd party write ups are stating that the Delux version is getting early release on the 11th October as opposed to the 14th. Has anyone seen this information direct from 2K?

Here's a better trailer for 2K23 than what was released yesterday:

Really enjoyed that trailer

Love to know where they got the data for the Renaissance club looked everywhere when the Scottish open was on, the current Lidar was a mile off.

Really enjoyed that trailer

Don't think i could see a pot bunker at the scottish open.

It’s a better trailer for sure.

The Bunkers look bad throughout the entire trailer & the traps at the renaissance club aren’t going to be anywhere near what they should be.
I do like the golfers pivot & leg action through the ball but the arms are still off. Cool to see Schauffele & Zalatoris.

Where did you see this Anders? Sounds positive.

Ok, so over on TGCT forum, someone's grabbed screens from that pulled video of skills and what looks like some kind of attributes that can be added to clubs:
