Scottish Open is a PGA/DP world tour event now, maybe HB/2k got the rights to the Scottish open,With Troon being a banned word in 2k i am assuming it will be added to the EA game in the future with the open being there in 2024. Should have been this year 100 years since it was first held there but there a year behind due to covid and when EA planned the game maybe messed them up a bit with the delayed release so in the end might end up with 3 in game with St.******* Royal T**** and Royal Liverpool as (2DLC)

HB/2K are still in this race provided they make a few additions and adjustments.

They need to add lots of themes and props to the designer.

They need pro v pro casual play.

They need to keep official courses coming on a regular basis even if we have to pay a reasonable DLC fee.

They need to ditch all the gimmicks and club tuning rubbish.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the new game on 3-click mode and think the official courses with tournament props actually look quite good.

What do you mean on the Pro vs Casual play?  I feel like they've nailed that with the various levels of play so I feel like I'm missing what you are talking about here...

For example I can’t play a casual game as Tiger Woods vs Bubba Watson on a course of my choice where I would obviously play Tigers shots but then see Bubbas alternate shots.

Very simple post… I’m not interested in EA’s new golf game. I’m not interested because I’m happy with my PS4, and the four games I have and play - PGA Tour 2K23, Gran Turismo, FIFA, and GTA.

I am not interested in paying something approaching £700 or whatever, for a PS5. Not to play one game. PS5s were impossible to source for ages, now they are a stupid price. If EA Sports were releasing their game for PS4, I’d buy it, play it, and genuinely compare it to 2K23.

No need for a PS5. Don’t want one, not paying that money for one.

The series X is by far the best piece of hardware I have ever had. Worth every penny.

It's like the old comment " there is no difference between 1080 and 4K".

That being said I get they are not cheap and I certainly would not buy it solely for a EA game. Not a chance in hell.

Lol I don't get the whole 10% the coins are worthless they can print as many as they want. Certainly killed societies with no bank no bonus.

A lot of things I like about the game but there is just something that is off. Just don't enjoy it as much anymore. Have a couple buddies that won't even play it anymore or very little.

Hopefully the show is good and EA game but have little faith in any games anymore.

I bought all three HB games on launch day and enjoyed each one enormously and feel I've have amazing value for money but I will be right at the front of que for this EA title and will gladly hand over my hard earned cash for the early access as I will be going away the day before official launch (that also happened with 2K, I'm the grim reaper of release v vacation dates)

Really want to know more about mp , sim mode and if there is live weather/ dynamic weather that affects the course.

Correct, this all sounds so good! Customisable swings, tonnes of customisation, playing against AI, sounds like an immersive career mode. Loving all that.

Oh aye, I’ll upgrade from the PS4 at some point. In just the same way my TVs have upgraded from the old big chunky ones to the initial more modern slimmer ones, to a really nice bigger 55in one… just not doing it because EA Sports are back in the game, but their golf game isn’t coming out on PS4.

I’ll bide my time. This EA game is no trigger on which to pull a £700 dent in the budget.
