I have now imported/published tourworthy course Lizard River Resort into 2K23.
The course itself remains unchanged, however lots of the plantings and rock work have been changed to hopefully give it a better "Kimberleys" look, like the Northwest of Western Australia. It makes use of the new rock and tree resources. It is tour ready with spectators and the minimum of ad-boards. Turn crowds off for a more peaceful round.
I replaced most of the tropical trees as although they have some desired gum tree like colours, I think they look too wispy now. Hopefully the replacements I've used still give the same Aussie outback vibe. Be good if 2K could give us some Aussie trees, like gum trees, banksias, boabs, paperbarks etc.
Some of the new rock faces are quite nice. Would love to see this expanded further in future, along with more choices for off course textures for themes.
Also the work sheds and some of the resort grounds have been changed for the better I hope. The resort pool area now looks better. Sorry I had to take away some vehicles from the parking lots.
The default time is morning (7:15am) and the weather settings are to give a warm river vibe just after the wet season has finished. You can still see the course features very well. Most of the greens are in full sun, but the few that have some shadows are still easy to see the green gradient lines due to the softer lighting effects.
