Leaderboard/Stats

INTRO:  If you're just buying the game on PC, XB1 or PS4 - come on out and join in the fun!  All players will play their tournaments on their own systems and then each leaderboard (PC, XB1, PS4) will be merged to the spreadsheet where we'll get the official leaderboard for both the PGA and Web.com tours.

Season 1 will end after Week 9.  We will then reset money and stats and start Season 2  (PGA/Web.com status will carry over)

 -  Congrats to Jimgem who finally claims his first PGA Tour win with d0n_hureTTe finishing 2nd for the 3rd straight week
 -  On the Web.com Tour Reyfox takes over the money lead after a 62 in the second round catapulted him to a 5-stroke win - His 2nd on the Web.com Tour this season
 -  Tough week for promotions as nobody earned a PGA Tour card after Week 8
 -  Cut line for PGA Tour card is now 69.7 (where it will stay)
 -  Only a few more days until Season 1 wraps up

RULE CHANGE:  PGA/Web.com status will be updated weekly now instead of after every major.  See Post #279 on Page 19 for details

PGA Tour Rules
1.  Each PGA/Web.com Season will be 12 weeks
2.  Season leaders sorted by total money won and by average rank
3.  Payout percentage follows PGA Tour
4.  Most Tournaments will start on a Saturday and end on the week Monday (9 days)
5.  Maintain a scoring average of 69.7 or lower to stay on PGA Tour
6.  PGA/Web.com status updates weekly
7.  Tiebreakers (1st place ties only) - Lowest round score starting at the final round and working back to first round - if all rounds tied then win will go to golfer with the lowest average score on the PGA Tour stats page
8.  If a user plays the same tournament on different systems (to completion) the highest (worst) score will be recorded on the leaderboard.

FAQ
Q.  Can I join the PGA Tour if I missed a week or two? 
A.  Yes!  You can join anytime and play whenever you can get the rounds in

Q.  Why can't I find where to play my rounds?
A.  You'll find the PGA Tour's tournaments in the Tournament section - the name will be "PGA Tour - Week X" (where X is the week we're on)

Q.  Can I play on PC now and then switch to PS4 or Xbox when it comes out?
A.  Yes!  We can carry your stats over to your PS4 or Xbox name

Q.  Can I replay my rounds to get a better score?
A.  No - timed events do not allow you to restart - you can quit and resume from where you left off though

Nice idea looking forward to this tour. No green grid will be a challenge. I play in high settings but my putting is shocking even with grids on!! Trying to work on the tips you gave me doyley.

I'll apologize up front to those of you on low-res setups as I know no grids will either severely handicap you for the majors

So after some investigating - I played a course without grids - front 9 on low quality and back 9 on high quality.  On my computer the greens were identical in quality. The detail changes between high/low were in water/trees/shadows but not on the greens.  So if this is the same for others I can safely say that everyone should be on level playing field since the greens are of same quality regardless of what detail level you play at.

Another tour sounds good to me.  I basically only play tours or tournaments now unless I see a great course pop up in the discovery thread I want to play.

I have played on a three setting and two different resolutions, for me the only thing I see different are tree leaves and water reflection.

Hey neaton14 how do find the ps3 controller? I have one but have not tried it.

I've really enjoyed it so far.  I have no problem hitting 100% power and on my short game I think I have pretty good control over the power (flop shots and chips in particular). I definitely don't hit it dead straight on all shots.  Sometimes I'm all over the place really.
