Do you have "Wind" in the gameplay settings set to "off".  ???

Nope, and it definitely is affecting my shots so I know there is wind.

Turning the wind setting to off doesn't turn the wind off, it only turns the wind speed display off, the wind remains, and the direction arrow remains.

Thanks for the info Andrew.  It will come in handy if I ever get TGC working on my PC.

TBH, I would think having the ability to set wind speed and direction would be a tremendous asset to the designer.

Only problem is, once published which speed and direction will your course be played at?

I have some holes made that if I were to have a wind in the face/at my back, not sure where the ball will end up.

Side winds would be nice to judge where trees and bunkers might make the hole harder/easier.

For test-playing your unpublished course with windy conditions you can allways go offline and play it.
But as long as you reach your fairway's/greens with a 3 iron, you'r fine off event in the strongest head-wind.

I'm getting 1mph too

I'm not complaining though - there was nothing more annoying that trying to test a course and getting 6,7,8k winds all the time.

I think the ultimate utopia would be to be able to select the wind in the creator.

+1000 on this.  Give us an option to slide the wind speed up FOR TESTING.  Nothing to do with publishing.  Have an option for Custom winds yes or no.  If yes, when you select play or play hole brings up menu for you to select wind direction and amount, then proceed to course.

Or global option inside GNCD that is set once and can be changed at any time...similar to Firmness and such, but again this doesn't get published.

My PS4 is doing a pretty good job with the designer now since the updates.  I like the 1 mph. Wind in Designer.  I'd rather have zero, but 1 is ok.  I can see how the hole will play ideally.  Hat makes the wind a "wild card" which is as it should be.
