So it's still in progress but I like things so far. Really just getting a feel for the new tools. There are STILL some odd bugs (if the brush is big...I can't seem to select it to delete it. BAH!)

This course is in a very ancient pine grove. There will be some fairly steep drop offs here and there and water on almost every hole. If there is no water visible then be careful because it's probably behind the hole or somewhere you won't want to find it.

Hole 1 - I love the looks of this hole. I'd love to play it in real life. Semi blind tee shot followed by a 2nd shot to a slightly elevated green.

Hole 2 - Par 5 that starts uphill to a split fairway with brush, trees in the middle. To the right is the easier shot though there is a bunker long. However that means getting home in 2 is...difficult. To the left is a tighter fit with some shot shaping required, but it leaves a manageable 2nd shot to a well guarded green. If you get home in two you've got a GREAT shot at eagle. IF you miss the green...things get trickier...

Hole 3 - Short par 4. The fairway is wide and inviting...but don't be fooled. That doesn't last. A creek splits things up near the green. Go right at it but don't miss left or right. Go to the right? No problem. 4 is easy on this one...but 6 is certainly possible!

I'm having fun putting this one together. Friday is going to come up FAST on this one! BACK AT IT!
Hope you're looking forward to playing at The Elderglenn!

Hole 4 - par 3 over a bit of a drop off but it's more for scaring you than anything. Green undulates a bit and the bunkers are pretty nasty if you land in them. Easy to birdie OR bogie....

Hole 5 - par 4 that, again, looks harder than it really is. I was toying with cliffs a little bit. They aren't easy to pull off as the textures change depending on height and I really didn't want some MASSIVE wall. Still, a neat hole!

Hole 6 - short par 4 that may be driveable with the right wind conditions. Slight gully splits fairway and trouble lurks to the left. Just a fun little hole that looks nice.

I can't wait to finish it up and publish. I really like this little course. :)

Hole 8 - par 4. If you can carry the bunkers you'll have a 180 to the hole. If not? more like 200+. The wind will be a big deal on this hole so be careful.
The green is tucked right next to a cliff and water guards the entire left side. It's not as hard as it looks but it's another that's easy to bogey if you're not paying attention.

ONE MORE HOLE BEFORE PUBLISHING!!! Woot!

I'm sure I'll expand it to 18.

The different texture is due to the abrupt change in elevation. Use a flatten tool instead of a raise tool

That looks amazing.  You sure do rugged terrain well.  It has a real natural-ness to it.  Now you have 2-3 weeks to rattle off the back nine, just in time for the console release  ;)   :)
